The Kids Layout was built in
2005. It is built on using one
4X8 sheet of plywood and
homosote. Initially, it had only
one level using Fastrack. In the
summer of 2005, I switched to
Real Trax. This allowed the
layout to have an elevated track
about the ground track. The
kids layout features bridges,
tunnels, a yard, and operating
accessories.
The pictures illustrate the layout
in a clockwise direction. The
bottom pictures show the layout
during its construction phase.
