These pictures show the layout
in during 2002 through 2004.
The pictures at the top show the
prototype layout located in the
corner of the basement. These
pictures show both MTH Real
Trax and Lionel O-31 track. I
was just learning how to use
DCS and decided to get a larger
layout to run O72 curves.
In 2003 the Layout moved to its
current place. It started as a
8X20 and it expanded to 8X24.
Scenary was added out the
outer edges. I new 4X8 was
added on Christmas eve.
The last set of pictures show the
layout in 2004 prior to the open
house with the neighbors. The
main line was put on top of
homosote and the layout
expanded to its final length of
32X8. The entire layout was
covered with snow for a winter
scene. This scene was kept
up until spring 2005.
